About the speaker: Dan Zaborowski started his supply chain career during the mid to late 1990's in the United States Marine Corps. He finished top of his class for his MOS school, top 10% at the NCO course and earned a Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal for upgrading a portion of his unit from non-mission capable to outstanding in a matter of 3 months. Post military life, Dan found himself looking for a career change and ended up in Supply Chain at MultiCare Health systems where he worked nearly a decade. He started unloading freight on the graveyard shift as the lead, he also supported the cath lab and eventually moved to Procurement as the inventory buyer, then later lead buyer and eventually supervisor. He later joined Catholic Health Initiatives as an Inventory manager for surgery and cath lab, before eventually transitioning back to a role in Procurement.  Dan currently oversees a staff of 21 team members in various specialized teams. He is also the current chapter President of the Western States Healthcare Materials Management Association, another local AHRMM chapter covering AK, WA, OR, ID and MT.
